The Problem

Revenue & Monetization Strategy. Job posting fees are table stakes. I help you evaluate and implement additional revenue streams: programmatic CPC feeds, email alert monetization, B2C premium services (application tracking, resume tools), sponsored jobs, and resume database products. Each model has different margin profiles, implementation complexity, and market fit — I help you pick the right ones for your stage and audience.

Product Roadmap. Where should you invest engineering resources? I work with your product and tech leadership to prioritize features based on market impact, competitive positioning, and technical feasibility. This includes evaluating build vs. buy for components like matching engines, email systems, apply flows, and ATS integrations.

Go-to-Market for New Verticals. Launching a niche board, expanding to a new geography, or adding a new product line — I help define the market entry strategy, content sourcing plan, and traffic acquisition approach.

Email & Retention Systems. I've supported job boards in building highly scalable email alert setups — from SES configuration to warming up domains and scaling to 300 million emails per month. Email alerts are both a retention tool and a monetization channel. I help you build them to serve both purposes with 97%+ deliverability.

Technologies & Tools

Product strategy frameworks, competitive analysis, market sizing, revenue modeling. On the technical side: SES, SendGrid, Mailgun for email infrastructure; ATS integration patterns (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, UBIO, Jobcopilot); matching engine architectures.
